Berlin Art Link Alter Angle 2016 1/4

January 2016, Berlin Art Link writer Alice Bardos visited Alter Angle when I worked with artist Jérôme Chazeix to cover the entire place with gold to create a glittering, bling bling 'gesamtkunstwerk.' Actually I think it had a bit of a deeper meaning than that, but I'll let Alice explain better: "a cacophonous layering of gold plated plastic, flash-photography, pop-synth music allusions to divinity... taking on gender, capitalism, fetishism, and authenticity.

Berlin Art Link Alter Angle 2014 1/2

Berlin Art Link writer AJ Kiyoizumi wrote a really thoughtful review of the second Alter Angle event in January 2014, giving great remarks on Igor artworks by Igor Dewe, Anthony Lycett, Chaca, and Margot Charbonnier, saying that the whole exhibition "works around the usual expectations of creativity in fashion... and that diversity makes for a charming show that further develops questions of sensuality and beauty."

Featured in WoW Berlin Magazine

In 2014 when I was living in Brazil I wrote a short piece called "When Everything Wrong Feels so Right" about a really interesting digital biennale called THE WRONG that was purely internet-based but had its origins in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Later that year after I returned to Berlin, WOW Magazine wrote a really great article about all the taboo topics and really cool artists that joined the "Unclean" exhibition in summer 2014. Too bad they spelled my name wrong -- I swear it really was me!
